Regulus: Swiss-system tournaments

Regulus manages a Swiss-system tournament from registration to the final standings:

  • automatic pairings with the FIDE Dutch system, editable by hand with rules checking;
  • Buchholz tie-breaks according to the FIDE rules in force from 2026;
  • byes, absences, late entries, non-cumulative prizes by category;
  • printouts of pairings, standings, crosstable and board cards;
  • import of Vega tournaments and export in FIDE TRF 2016 and 2026 formats.

Regulus is independent software, not endorsed by FIDE.

It is used without an account, saving tournaments on your own device. With a free account tournaments are saved online, can be run by a group of arbiters and published for players and spectators.
